“Bordo Mare far exceeded our expectations! The views are amazing. We spent a portion of each day on the balcony overlooking the ocean and many boats passing by. Bordo Mare is in an excellent location. It’s approximately 10 minutes to Cruz Bay and less than 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store. The owner has thought of everything you ‘ll need for the perfect Island vacation, such as Tommy Bahama beach chairs, coolers, floats for the pool, beach towels, and every kitchen appliance and untencil you can imagine. The owner, Mike makes the booking process very easy. Checking in and out has never been easier. We’ll definitely be back to St John staying at Bordo Mare soon!”

“This villa is elegant and has everything you need including the most amazing view ever. We loved the pool and grill so found ourselves eating in every night. The kitchen is well stocked and we really enjoyed the welcome meal. The villa is located really close to Cruz Bay which we liked and convenient to Starfish Market... We will surely be back someday and stay in Bordo Mare again!!! Thanks Mulley and Colleen for a wonderful vacation.”

“We rented Mike’s place for a week with our 2 boys. The house was great, we loved hanging out in the patio in the morning and evenings and indulged in the pool after a long day hiking and hanging out at the beach.
The house is close enough to beaches and Cruz bay and still you are able to escape from it all.
We would definitely rent from Mike again and look forward to our next visit to St. John”

“Everything about our stay here was perfect! Mike was super easy to work with and even helped us out when we had a glitch in our plans. We were 2 couples staying here and couldn’t have asked for a better set up. Both bedrooms, as well as the entire first floor, had amazing balconies and views. This was our 5th home we rented on St. John (our friends were newbies) and by far our favorite! We loved being so close to town yet far enough to feel secluded. We were able to enjoy the beautiful beaches, stop for happy hour in town and then enjoy the pool and balconies at night. We travel often, usually through VRBO, and have never rented the same villa twice but that is about to change! We’re already trying to figure out when we can return to Bordo Mare!”

“We just returned from a week in St. John and could not have picked a better house [Bordo Mare] to stay in. The house was exquisite with huge balconies overlooking the ocean on the South Shore. There were unobstructed views from every room of the house. The house was well equipped with very nice furnishings and appliances. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the house and the location was perfect for going into town at night for dinner. The owner made sure that we were happy with the place and was very quick to respond by email if we had any questions during booking. We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax on St. John.”

“Our family of three just returned from a week of incredible relaxation and luxurious views! The view is fantastic from the pool and from every room in the house. Having front row seats to the stunning Caribbean waters is our most cherished memory. We loved the upscale decor and relaxing colors of the villa and the beds were incredibly comfortable with fine linens. We loved the big walk-in closets with plenty of hangers too. We even stored our luggage in there. Bath towels were also plush, another nice touch! The pictures of the villa are quite accurate but it does look so much better in person and is bigger than it looks as well. When you open up the “glass wall” in either the living area, dining area or either of the master suites upstairs, it will take your breath away and you will realize you made a great choice to stay here!!! We arose every morning to capture the stunning sunrises and made sure to be front row for the sunsets. The air conditioning is robust, perfect for us! It’s a very short ride into town and to most of the beaches. Kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. Basically everything is there for a fabulous Caribbean vacation! The wifi worked great for us too. Thanks, Mulley, for your charming hospitality and opening your beautiful home to us. It was truly a pleasure! We hope to enjoy this privilege again in the near future! ;-)”

“Bordo Mare is a excellent beach house! Such amazing views and great location from Cruz Bay. House is equipped with almost everything you would need! Grocery store is close by. If you like to walk you will get a work out walking around the loop by the house! Just bring your eye mask if you plan on sleeping in the mornings! Sun comes up early. There is beach chairs, cooler, floats. We traveled with another couple and the house was great with 2 master bedrooms. Worked out well for that.”

“What a wonderful home! We thoroughly enjoyed Bordo Mare and will gladly stay again. All of the “personal touch” items are incredible. Mulley, is wonderful and very easy to deal with. The home offers incredible views, is very comfortable, and top of the line. We enjoyed just hanging out by the pool and cooking meals with friends in the kitchen. It was so easy to relax, listen to music, and have fun. This home had it all! We will definitely be here again. St. John is our favorite place in the world and now Bordo Mare is our favorite place to be when we are there😊”

The space fit our family of four perfectly! We enjoyed hanging out by the pool during the day and relaxing on the couches on the patio at night, watching the sunset and then the stars.
